Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPP) is a Joint Venture Company of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC and PTC (India) Limited, with an authorised share capital of Rs. 500 Crores, formed for the execution of Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar Hydroelectric Projects in Chenab River basin,Distt.Kishtwar (J&K) with capacity of 2120 MW.

Qualifications :

Selection Process : Selection process will comprise of test (wherever necessary) and personal interview. Applications received against each post shall be put in order of their Merit as per the scrutiny criteria and only the shortlisted candidates shall be called for Interview.

General Instructions:
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates belonging to J&K shall be given preference provided they meet all the requisite qualifying criteria.
3. Candidates interested to apply for more than one Post are required to apply separately.
4. Higher start may be considered in case of deserving candidates. Candidates may be considered for a lower post in case they are found otherwise suitable depending upon their qualification, experience and present profile / position.
5. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in candidates for being called for test / interview. Decision of Management to call the candidates for selection shall be final. No interim correspondence shall be entertained.
6. Candidate has to apply only in the prescribed format given on our Website. No other manual/paper application shall be entertained.
7. Application Forms received after the expiry of due date shall not be entertained under any circumstances. CVPP shall not be responsible for any postal delays in receipt of applications.
8. Candidates submitting incomplete application or without requisite testimonials/experience certificate will not be entertained.

About the organization:
Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPP), has been incorporated on 13/06/2011 as a Joint Venture Company of NHPC Limited, JKSPDC and PTC (India) Limited for execution of 03 Hydroelectric Projects namely Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar with aggregate capacity of 2120 MW at Chenab River Basin in Distt Kishtwar of Jammu & Kashmir, with equity participation of 49%, 49% and 2% by NHPC,JKSPDC & PTC respectively. The Company shall execute these Projects on Build, Own, Operate and Maintain (BOOM) basis.CVPP shall function through its registered Office in Jammu along with other Offices which shall be established at the Project Construction Sites as per the requirements.Power Development in Jammu and Kashmir has a long and distinguished history. 9MW Mohra Hydro-electric Plant, among the first of its kind in the subcontinent, was developed as early as 1905. The estimated hydel potential is about 20,000 MW, out of which projects of about 16,200 MW capacity have already been identified. These projects are techno-economically viable, besides being eco-friendly and socially beneficial.
