Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Assam invited applications for
recruitment to the post of Specialists & General Duty Medical
Officer (GDMOs). The candidates eligible for the post can attend walk-in
interviews on 10 December 2013 at 9:00 AM. The Central Reserve Police
Force is the largest of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It
functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the
Government of India. The CRPF's primary role lies in assisting the
State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order
and contain insurgency. It came into existence as the Crown
Representative's Police on 27 July 1939.

- Specialists: Candidate should have PG degree or Diploma in concerned speciality with 1 ½ or 2 ½ years experience. Candidate should also have a recognised medical qualification included in the first or second schedule of part-II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- General Duty Medical Officer (GDMOs): Candidate should have completed compulsory rotating internship. Candidate should also have a recognised medical qualification included in the first or second schedule of part-II of the Third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
