Post Name :  Postman & Mail Guard   Qualification/Educational Criteria : Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Qualified 10th (HSC) level exam or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board.   No of Post : 196   Age Limit(in yrs) : Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 18 to 27 Years.   Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200 with Grand Pay Rs.2,000/- per month.   Cost of Application : Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- through all Head Post Offices in the Circle.   Examination Fee : Desired applicants have to pay Rs.400/- for General / OBC category candidates. No fees for SC/ST (Reserved) category candidates in a Post Office of the Rajasthan Postal Circle through e-payment.   Mode of Selection : Selection will be based on Aptitute Test.

Last date to receipt application on or before 05th April 2014.

The Department of Posts, trading as India Post, is a govt. operated postal system in India; it is generally referred to within India as "the post office". As of 31/03/2011, the Indian Postal Service had 1,54,866 post offices, of which 1,39,040 (89.78 percent) were in rural areas and 15,826 in urban areas. It had 25,464 departmental Post Offices and 1,29,402 Extra-Departmental Branch Post Offices. At the time of independence, there were 23,344 post offices, primarily in urban areas.
